The most convincing proof of retention is to hear a roomful of children enthusiastically belt out the message for weeks and months after Samantha's visit. |

Dear Bill
It is my pleasure to provide you with a letter of endorsement for the Tale of Samantha Skunk... Why Smoking Stinks! For the past few years we have been actively promoting your quality educational program in New Hampshire. We highly recommend the Samantha Skunk program because of the tobacco education and prevention content. It provides an opportunity for young children to begin learning about the negative health effects of tobacco use in an age-appropriate manner.
We have actively encouraged and used adolescents and young teens to participate in the program by becoming Samantha Skunk volunteers. They have an opportunity to set in motion a continuum of tobacco use prevention education and help generate a tobacco-free youth movement. The program has been used in about twenty-five schools under our promotional efforts.
I would be happy to personally discuss our achievements with anyone interested. My best wishes for your continued success.
Sincerely,

Douglas E. Barry, CAE
